Because HOME WORK IS WHAT I DO BEST! I have been a FULL TIME REALTOR for 20 years with Coldwell Banker Town & Country Real Estate. Before my real estate career began, I started working at age 13 as a tour guide at Indian Caverns in Spruce Creek, PA. At age 16, I joined the CO-OP thru my high school and added a job working for an insurance and financial planning company in State College, PA. I was encouraged by a friend to interview with a real estate company to work in their back offices, the decision to do so changed my life's path. I love the challenges of designing a custom market plan for each of my seller's properties. Anyone can put a sign in the yard, but to get a SOLD sign, at top dollar, it takes creativity! I work diligently to get your unique property to stand out from all others! I grew up in a time when professionalism meant customer service. Throughout my formidable years I was surrounded by competent and successful sales people. I learned from them that keys to success include a high level of honest communication with my clients. This makes for a smooth and efficient transaction whether selling or buying. With my network of contractors, mortgage lenders, and handy people that I have built over the years, we can tackle any issues that may arise during your sale or purchase process. My spectrum of real estate has included foreclosures, mobile home sales, single family home sales, multi-unit properties, investment properties, commercial properties, leases, rural properties and farms.
My family is originally from Minnesota, but I spent most of my childhood in Spruce Creek swimming in the creek, running through our farm fields, and playing with our horses and other animals. Horses have stayed with me throughout my life and I hold a Lifetime membership in the American Quarter Horse Association, the Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association and many other equestrian associations. I am a proud sponsor of Equestrians With Disabilities and strongly believe in helping thru horses. I have also stayed involved in many of the local charities thru motorcycle charity rides...and yes, I ride my own! I love Blair County and Central Pennsylvania and have an intimate knowledge of our local areas which is significantly helpful when looking for your dream home.
